Wikipedia says Steve Hunter & Dick Wagner play guitar on Same Old Song and Dance" and "Train Kept A Rollin" on the Get Your Wings Album. Doesn't say so for their first four albums except for extra percussion instruments. Do you have a link to info that backs up "none of the great guitar leads..." I'm not sure it matters much at this point, though, since they've been playing them live for years. Album's still great whoever's playing it, though credit should be due on a reissue.

Some of the solos on get your wings were recorded by dick wagner and that other cat, but I also know that the songs and the meat of the playing were written and played by joe and brad. As far as using studio cats for the first four albums, it is utter b.s. And about them sounding different with geffen is really way out there. They sounded different on every album. They also made the switch from analog to digital, different amps, guitars, studios and producers. Do I need to go on? Come on!!

Hey - you should do your research before you leave a stupid comment like that. It is well documented and well-known that Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter did the solos on Get Your Wings. I'm betting you never heard of them but real music fans know who they are.
